The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Kochi Metro Rail Limited and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is likely to be on the agenda for the next meeting of the KMRL director board. The meeting is scheduled for September 11 in New Delhi. The State government’s order demarcating works between the two agencies too is long awaited.

The director board of the Kochi Metro Rail Limited will meet in New Delhi on September 11. The Union government had nominated Urban Development Secretary Sudhir Krishna as the board’s chairman, apart from four other members in the 10-member board.

The State is yet to nominate its fifth member.
