The application can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store. The app has been designed in a user friendly manner to facilitate smooth browsing by the voters. Public meetings

With temperature on the rise, the Election Commission has issued guidelines with regard to organising election campaign meetings during the day time. The move comes in the wake of receipt of a slew of complaints by the Commission.

Political parties and candidates have been asked to conduct campaign meetings under pandals and to arrange drinking water and medical care facilities. Even deaths were reported during campaign meetings due to heat-related health issues.

The preparation of marked copies of voters’ lists has begun in the election registration offices in taluks.

Election registration officers are entrusted with this responsibility and they are required to sign on each page of the list. Every contesting candidate will get a copy of the list. Three copies will be given to the returning officers of each constituency.

The preparation of lists for Piravom and Muvattupuzha constituencies began on Thursday while steps for the preparation of lists for Perumbavoor and Kunnathunad constituencies are under way.
