The Internal Security Investigation Team (ISIT) of Kerala will move the Coimbatore Judicial First Class Magistrate Court on Wednesday seeking custody of arrested Maoist leader Roopesh.

According to officials, a team will go to Coimbatore with the required papers and move the court requesting his custody to facilitate the investigation. However, the ISIT will not be probing the attack on the office of the Nitta Jelatin office and that of the National Highway Authority of India, which are under consideration of the local police.

Meanwhile, the agency has urged the police to maintain special vigil in the State following the arrest of the top Maoist leader.
