The Holy Week observances in the Archdiocese of Varappuzha will be led by Archbishop Francis Kallarakkal. Maundy Thursday will start with the blessing of the holy oils at 7.30 a.m. by the Archbishop.
It will be followed by a concelebrated Mass in which priests from across the archdiocese will participate.
The ceremonies of washing the feet and the Holy Mass will begin at 5.30 p.m. Adoration of the Holy Sacrament will go on till midnight.
The Way of the Cross will begin at 7 a.m. on Good Friday from Francis Assisi Cathedral.
The adoration of the Cross will take place at 4 p.m.
