Hiroshima Day observed

Teachers and students of St. Mary's High School, Kandanadu, observed Hiroshima Day as part of a programme organised by the YMCA, Udayamperoor, near here, on Saturday.

A press release issued by the organisers said that students released doves as a symbol of peace on the occasion. A.C. Chacko, Chairman of YMCA Ernakulam sub-region, presided over the function. C.R. Neelakantan, social activist, inaugurated the programme and delivered the keynote address.
