Girls outshine boys in Class X CBSE exam in district

The majority of the schools in Ernakulam posted 100 per cent pass in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X examination, the results of which were declared on Monday evening.

Girls seem to have outshone boys in bagging A1 in all subjects going by the initial feedback from various schools in the district.

Schools under the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan here registered 100 per cent pass. In Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, 57 students secured A1 in all subjects. The number of students who won A1 in all subjects in other Bhavan’s schools: Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad – 27; Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara – 22; Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Thiruvankulam – 31; Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar – 35; Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor – 30; and Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya, Vellore – 30.

In Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad, 24 students bagged A1 grade in all subjects.

At Gregorian Public School in Maradu, 16 students won A1 in all subjects.

Out of 143 students who wrote the examination at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannankulangara, 27 students won A1 in all subjects.

At Campion School in Edappally, 24 students won A1 in all subjects.

Thirteen students of S.B.O.A Public School secured A1 in all subjects. In Mar Thoma Public School at Kakkanad, 58 students bagged distinction.

Three students of Nalanda Public School, Thammanam, won the perfect 10-point grade.

At Sree Narayana Public School at Poothotta, six students secured A1 in all subjects. Ten out of the 59 students at Amrita Vidyalayam in Edappally won A1 in all subjects.

In Vidhyadhiraja Vidya Bhavan at Angamaly, 15 students secured A1 in all subjects. At Alangad Jama-ath Public School, 14 students won A1 in all subjects.

Nine out of the 81 students of Rajashree SM Memorial School at East Kadungalloor bagged A1 in all subjects.
