Finger dance is a unique art form which has been gaining currency of late. As many as 1,000 hands danced on Saturday to celebrate world unity and harmony, and made a record performance at the Gregorian Public School. Renowned choreographer and a pioneer in finger dancing Imthiyas Aboobacker gave training to the students of the school. The students had to undergo two months of rigorous training.

It was inaugurated by Joseph Mor Gregorios Metropolitan. Municipal Chairman of Maradu Municipality Sunila Sibi and Principal Jayaprabha Pradeep spoke.
