Father submits petition to DGP

Director General of Police Loknath Behra has received a petition from the father of the Dalit law student who was killed in Perumbavoor, seeking a detailed probe into the rumours linked to her murder. He met the official on Tuesday. The police have not yet disclosed its content. Meanwhile, the team probing the case took into custody a suspect from Neriamangalam after his name was allegedly found in one of the material evidences recovered from the victim’s house. – Staff Reporter
