The Department of Biotechnology at the Cochin University of Science and Technology will conduct a one-day public awareness programme titled ‘Prajna’ in collaboration with the Centre for Neuroscience as a part of Brain Awareness Week on March 21.

An official release said that the programme would include talks by eminent neuro-psychiatrists in the morning session.

“Astu” (so be it), a movie that tried to create awareness about different brain disorders and aimed to address the stigma associated with them, will be screened in the afternoon session. Mohan Agashe, noted Bollywood actor and neuro-psychiatrist, will participate in an open forum to be organised as part of the programme.
