Albin Jose George, son of Kothavayikkal George Varghese from Kottayam, was ranked first in the provisional list of candidates who appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013 conducted for various courses by the Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Sanal P. Prasad, son of P. K. Sivaprasad at West Karuvelipady, G. N. C. National Enclave at Thoppumpady, bagged the second position. The third rank holder is Akhil Ashok, son of S. Ashokan, from Chanthapura in Kodungallur.
Nandu Sivadasan, son of K. O. Sivadasan from Avinandanam, Kareemakkattu, Thrikkakara, got the first rank in the SC/ST category.
The Registrar informed in a press release that the full rank list is published on the website of Cusat at www.cusat.nic.in .
It said that option registration for B.Tech and post graduate programme will begin from Thursday and the last date has been fixed for May 31. The details of counselling admission scheduled will be published on the University’s website.
CAT was held on May 11 and 12 at various centres across the country and Dubai in which 23,937 took the examination for B.Tech courses.
