: The Kerala Film Producers Association has requested the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) to ask its member Kalabhavan Mani to meet the loss incurred by a producer who was forced to stop shooting of his movie following non-cooperation by the actor.

In his complaint submitted before the producers’ association, Snehajith, producer of the movie Daivam Sakshi , alleged that the shooting of the movie began after Mr. Mani agreed to act in ite. M. Renjith, general secretary of the producers’ association, said Mr. Mani had failed to turn up at the location despite requests by Innocent, MP and president of AMMA. “We have now requested the actors’ association to ask Mr. Mani to meet the loss incurred by the producer. The association will not cooperate with Mr. Mani, if he fails to pay up, he said.
