College to hold management meet

The Marian College, Kuttikkanam will be organising a two-day management fete and conference from November 3.

P. C. Cyriac, Director, Federal Bank Ltd. and Chairman, Cochin Stock Exchange will inaugurate the meet. On the concluding day, a conference on “Critical appraisal of tax reforms in the context of GST” will be held. The conference will be inaugurated by Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac. Sachin Menon, Head (Indirect Taxes), KPMG India will deliver the keynote address and Syro-Malabar Church Kanjirapally Diocese Bishop Mar Mathew Arackal will preside over the function.

The programme is being organised by the M.Com Department of the College in association with the Mahatma Gandhi University, KPMG and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).

CII representative Mariyil Krishnan Nair, who is also the State Council chairman of the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasi Ekopana Samathi; P.T. Thomas, MP, E.S. Bijumol, MLA., and College principal Dr. Ruble Raj will also speak.
