Coir cluster service providers' meet

A meeting of various service providers to the Alappuzha coir cluster, held here on Saturday, discussed various projects to be taken up under the Alappuzha Business Development Service (BDS) project.

The meeting was organised by Cluster Pulse, an organisation providing guidance to the service providers.

The Alappuzha BDS Project is being undertaken under the joint initiative of organisations such as World Bank, Small Industries Development Bank of India, British DFID and German GTZ.

The programme was aimed at improving market-oriented business development services, thereby fostering growth of the micro, medium and small enterprises. Jagat Shah, Director of Cluster Pulse, and Pankaj Ahir, project manager, Alappuzha BDS project, led the classes.
