‘Clean Kerala’ project launched

District Collector P.I. Sheikh Pareed inaugurated the ‘Clean Kerala’ destination one time cleaning programme, organised by the Department of Tourism, at Kumbalanghi, the model tourism village on the outskirts of the city on Saturday. The project is being implemented in Fort Kochi, Mattanchery and Marine Drive.

Kumbalanghi Model Tourism Development Society organised the programme in association with the District Tourism Promotion Council and Kumbalanghi panchayat.

Cleaning was done at Kallanchery, Anjilithara, Panchayat Road and a park in Kumbalanghi.

Panchayat president Usha Pradeep presided over the function held at the park.
