CIAL Academy offers courses

CIAL Academy, an aviation management institute run by the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has invited applications for its post graduate, diploma and certification courses to commence in the next curriculum year.

The courses offered are MBA, PG Diploma in Fire & safety Management, Advanced Diploma in Air Cargo Management, Airport Operations Management, and Airport Ramp Handling. In addition, various other short term certificate training courses are also being offered in Airport Ramp Handling, Rescue & Fire Fighting, and Security & Intelligence.

The academy, affiliated to the Indira Gandhi National Open University, will be providing a master degree with specializations in the domains of Aviation Business, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and marketing management etc. Any one having a bachelor degree in any subject with a minimum of 50 % marks can apply for the two year programme.

Three year advanced diploma courses in subjects of airport operations management, air cargo management, security management, retail management rescue fire fighting and safety; relationship management will also be launched simultaneously.

Certificate courses with duration of six months will also be offered in airport ramp handling, security and intelligence, rescue and fire-fighting for students who have passed higher secondary examinations.

The application form and prospectus will be issued till April 30. They can be also downloaded from the website www.cochin-airport.in and www.ciasl.in. The filled in application form along with a DD for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of ‘CIAL Academy' payable in Ernakulam must reach the institute by April 30.
