Ban on visitors at Cochin airport

Security at the Cochin International Airport has been beefed up in view of the forthcoming Republic Day celebrations on January 26. Based on a direction from the Bureau of Civil aviation Securities, CIAL imposed a ban on the entry of visitors to the passenger terminals.  The passenger surveillance system has been intensified and baggage screening has also been strengthened apart from a thorough screening of all cargo items.
