Wamsi Singavaroopa, also known as Prakash of Andhra Pradesh was arrested by the City police on charges of cheating a city based doctor by promising a car after remitting the processing fee. He was arrested from Eluru district in Andhra Pradesh. He was produced before the Ernakulam Chief Judicial First Class Magistrate Court here and remanded for 15 days.
