Rev. Jacob Thekkeparampil, director, St Ephrem Ecumenical Research Institute (SEERI), one of the premier research centre for Syriac literature, history, worship and traditions, has been honoured with ‘Chevalier des Palms Academiques’ by the French government for his exemplary contribution to culture and education.
He was presented with the hounour by Fracois Richier, France’s ambassador to India, at a special function at SEERI on Saturday.
