Psykovsky, alias Vasily Markelov, Russian dark-psychedelic trance producer and Moscow DJ, who was arrested during a DJ party here on Saturday, could be an active peddler of narcotics, the police said on Sunday.
“We recovered from his possession a packet of brown-coloured powder, named ‘Adventure On’. The packet had about 57 grams of a substance which has been tested positive for marijuana and hashish,” DCP Harisankar said. Though the police are yet to ascertain what the contraband is, they suspect it to be “Russian Secret,” a party drug taken for a rush of energy.
During interrogation, he told the police that he was unaware of the Indian laws regulating drug consumption.
