Chandrabose murder case: Appeal likely

Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, in the meantime, said in a statement here that the government might appeal against the court verdict in the Chandrabose murder case. He said the government would take a final decision after consultations with T. Asaf Ali, Director General of Prosecutions.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy welcomed the verdict. “From the very beginning, the prosecution approached the case with due planning while the intervention of the civil society and the media proved to be a key factor adding to its confidence,’’ he told reporters Kochi.
