Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the 27th Inter Medical Kalolsavam, ‘Plexus 2011,' at the Cooperative Medical College, Kalamassery, on Thursday at 3.30 p.m.
Minister for Cooperation C.N. Balakrishnan will preside over the function. Minister for Public Works V.K. Ebrahim Kunju will be the chief guest. K.P. Dhanapalan, Jose K. Mani, P.T. Thomas, and P. Rajeev, MPs; MLAs from the district; District Collector P.I. Sheikh Pareed, and Kalamassery municipal chairman Jamal Manakkadan will offer felicitations.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, director of Cooperative Academy of Professional Education, Kerala, K.S. Premachandra Kurup said that the festival would bring together medical colleges from the government, cooperative and self-financing sectors.
Leader of Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan will inaugurate the valedictory function to be held on December 4.
