Action against posters defaming K. Babu

The Returning Officer in the Thripunitura Assembly constituency has recommended action against those who had put up posters allegedly defaming K. Babu, Congress candidate.

An official release issued here said that a report prepared by K.V. Abdul Azis, Returning Officer in Thripunitura, said that the publishing of the posters and their display amounted to violation of the model code of conduct. The report also mentioned that the name of the publisher and the printing unit were missing. — Special Correspondent
