Stage set for Pepper awards

The stage is set for the conduct of the eleventh edition of Pepper Creative Awards, aimed at advertisement agencies, production houses, printers, and photographers from the southern parts of the country.

A press release issued here quoted Venugopal, chairman of Pepper Trust, which is organising the event, as stating that more than 2,000 entries were expected to be received. The competition had become a stepping stone for the creative fraternity in this part of the world to take part in other major peer-reviewed national and international competitions, he said, adding that leading advertising agencies from south India were expected to participate in it.

A panel of eminent personalities from India’s creative world will evaluate the entries for Pepper 2017. The last date for the receipt of entries is March 31, 2017.

Prathap Suthan, the mentor of Pepper Awards, who has been a judge at many similar national and international events, said the event offered advertising professionals opportunities to showcase their talents to a national audience.

More categories have been added under Kerala section this year, such as jewellery, real estate, textiles, hospitality, ayurveda, media, animation, automobile, healthcare, public service, home appliances, finance, cinema, retail (malls and supermarkets), etc.,” said R. Madhava Menon, Chairman, Pepper Awards 2017.
