Customs sleuths at the Cochin International Airport have seized nearly 3 kg of gold in eight separate cases over the past one week ending May 29. The seizures effected during the period included 466.56 grams of four gold biscuits from a passenger who had landed from Muscat on May 24. Another major case was the seizure of 443.20 gm of crude gold ornaments from a woman, a native of Perumbavoor, who had arrived from Bahrain.
