The selection of students for the Plus One level will be based on the guidelines prepared by SCERT. The total marks scored by the student along with the marks in the subject in which they had applied for will be considered for admission. Each grade has been given a point. A+ = 9, A = 8, B+ = 7, B = 6, C+ = 5, C = 4, D+ = 3.
The admission will be based on the Grading Point Average (GPA) scored by each student. GPA is calculated by dividing the total points by the total number of subjects (10). In the next stage of selection process, the average of total points in all 10 papers and average for the subject applied for will be added together to find out the Weighted Grade Point Average (WGPA).
