As many as 20 Foreign Service Attaches (FSAs) of friendly foreign countries are on a three-day visit to the Southern Naval Command headquarters in Kochi and the Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala, near Kannur, from August 21 to 23.

The visit is to understand the Indian Navy’s training philosophy and capabilities. On Monday, the Dean of the Foreign Service Attaches, accompanied by two FSAs, called on Vice Admiral A.R. Karve, chief of the command. Besides visiting professional training schools, the team will also travel to places of tourist interest in Kochi besides the Kochi harbour.
