At least 15 persons were brought to the District General Hospital here on Tuesday because of suspected rabid dog bite in Chendamangalam, near Paravur.

One person was admitted because of the severity of the wounds, said the hospital superintendent.

The victims were brought to the hospital because the immunoglobins that are usually prescribed along with the vaccine in cases of dog bites were not available at the Paravur hospital.
