The Nehru Zoological Park this year has played host to more than 30 lakh visitors taking the city’s popular leisure haunt to select few three million visitors club.
The number of visitors during the year 2013-14 stood at 30,04,238 on Sunday, which is the highest for a year in the history of the zoo. According to a press release issued here, the increase in the number of visitors compared to the previous year was 10 per cent and almost 70 per cent when compared to the year 2009-10.
