Industrialist turned politician Y.S.Chowdary, who became a Union Minister recently, has resigned as director of Sujana Metal Products Ltd. The flagship firm of the diversified Sujana group that he founded made an announcement in this regard on Wednesday. It said the board of directors on November 13 accepted his resignation from the directorship. A confidante of A.P. Chief Minister, N.Chandrababu Naidu, he was sworn in Union of Minister of State for science and technology portfolio on Nov. 9.
