Collector lauds DDS efforts to train youth

Collector Manickaraj Kannan called upon the youth to fine tune their skills imparted at Pachhasale Skill Development Centre.

Addressing a gathering after giving away certificates to those who had completed three months training at Pachhasale on Tuesday, Mr. Manickaraj said that the nation needs the skilled youth and India has the advantage of demographic dividend. “Use the skills and you can excel in your fields,” he told them. He visited the agro-ecology exhibit centre established at Pachhasale and promised to send the agriculture officers to study and learn from the centre.

MANAGE Director Umarani said that DDS is a case study for agriculture officials across the nation and visiting this place will be an education itself. She congratulated the DDS for establishing agro-ecology course for students in the organisation. DDS director P.V. Satheesh said that Pachhasale school was converted into a skill development centre to impart life skills to the youth to help them get a good livelihood.
