The Lok Satta Udyama Samstha Karimnagar district unit felicitated a student, who helped the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to trap a village revenue officer for demanding and accepting bribe for doing official favour, at its office in Karimnagar town on Thursday.

A degree second year student, Gudi Manoj Kumar of Tadigonda village in Boinpalli mandal in Rajanna-Sircilla district, studying in Karimnagar town was being harassed by VRO Rondi Janardhan who demanded a bribe for mutation of his grandparents’ property in his name.

Inspired by the ACB crusade against corruption, Manoj approached the ACB and helped them trap the VRO on Wednesday.

On this occasion, the Lok Satta district had felicitated the student for fighting against the corruption from the student level. Lok Satta district president N Srinivas, secretary, Prakash Holla, district leaders Chandra Prabhakar, Syed Muzaffar, M Gangadhar and others were present.
