Youth Congress Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency unit president Negi Shekhar has flayed Peddapalli MP Balka Suman for not visiting and consoling the family members of dalit youth Manthani Madhukar, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Khanapur village of Manthani mandal.

Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, he found fault with the Peddapalli MP for not even condemning the suspicious death when there were lots of agitations by dalit organisations alleging that it was a cold blooded murder of a dalit youth for loving an upper cast girl. He also ridiculed the police authorities for not making any progress in the case in spite of incident taking place 25 days ago.

Alleging that the Peddapalli MP reacts instantly if anyone makes allegations against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Nizamabad MP Kavitha, he said that the MP was behaving in an anti-dalit manner by not condemning the incident.

Charging that the atrocities against the dalits had increased in the State during TRS regime, he said the dalit MPs and MLAs did not have any right to participate in the Babu Jagjivan Ram and Dr. BR Ambedkar birth anniversary celebrations for not condemning the dalit youth killing.
