A youngster from Warangal was nabbed by the Rachakonda Cyber Cell for harassing three girl students on social media and demanding money. Police said the accused, identified as S. Sai Kiran Reddy, was sent to judicial custody on Saturday.

“The complainant, an engineering student, received a WhatsApp message from unknown numbers asking her to share her personal pictures and made video calls. When she blocked the number, the accused started sending morphed pictures of the complainant to one of her classmates with abusive text messages,” police said. The stalker also threatened of posting her morphed pictures on porn sites and further sent the morphed pictures to her other classmates, police said.

Based on a complaint, the police identified the culprit as Mr. Reddy, who later confessed that he wanted to continue harassing victims but since they stopped responding to his messages or blocked his number, he decided to take revenge by sending morphed pictures and vulgar texts.
