Woman gives birth to quadruplets

The doctors at Gandhi Hospital conducted a caesarean section on a 30-year-old woman who had conceived quadruplets, to save her three babies while one infant was stillborn. Lakshmi from Aroor village in Medak district underwent emergency surgery on Wednesday morning. “While we managed to save three babies, one foetus was already dead in the mother’s womb,” Head, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Dept, Gandhi Hospital, Dr. J. Venkateshwara Reddy said.
