A housewife reportedly inflicted wounds with a sickle on the private parts of her husband following an argument between them at Asifnagar, the police said.
The woman stayed along with her husband, Satti, a construction worker at Ambedkarnagar in Rethibowli. They have two children. The man suspected his wife’s fidelity and often quarrelled with her , the police said.
On Saturday night, Satti came home in an inebriated state and picked up a quarrel with his wife and reportedly thrashed her. “In a fit of rage the woman took a sickle and inflicted injury on the private part of her husband. ,” Asifnagar Sub-Inspector B. Mahender said.
