‘Wings’ bird park, new attraction at Ramoji Film City

Wings, a new bird park in Ramoji Film City, was inaugurated here on Thursday.

The new sanctuary is home to hundreds of exotic birds, native plants, slices of rocks and ingrown flora.

A new tourist attraction, it comprises of a Waterbird area, an enclosure for caged birds, a free-zone area, and a special zone which hosts only ostriches.

The new bird park holds a wide range of species of like the Carolina duck, Emperor goose, Scarlet Ibis, Manchurian crane, Chilean flamingo, White stork, Ross Turaco, Great Blue Turaco, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, Military Macaw, Dusky Lory, Green-napped rainbow Lorikeet, Yellow-bibbed Lory, Chattering Lory etc.
