WeCare opens first facility in Cyberabad

March 28, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - HYDERABAD:

WeCare Learning Pvt. Ltd., announced the launch of its first ‘Near-Site’ child care centre, exclusively for software major Microsoft. This makes it the ninth such facility, with the remaining eight in Bengaluru.

More are in the pipeline and will be launched in a phased manner, said WeCare MD Reshma Shrinivas, adding that the company was focussed on providing quality rather than exponential growth. The focus, she said was on providing early learning, so that children would be exposed to ‘how to learn’ instead of ‘what to learn’.

“We have tie-ups with 35 corporates including Microsoft, Accenture, Aditya Birla, ANZ, Honeywell, TCS, Cognizant. We will soon open two more such facilities in Hyderabad. They will all be day care centres and pre-schools rolled into one. Our objective is to shape children as good learners between the day their mothers go back to work after maternity leave and the day they enter a regular primary school,” she outlined.
