The Government has decided to postpone the web options facility for the engineering aspirants who attended the certificate verification.
The web options were to open on Thursday as per schedule for the first 40,000 rankers but the counselling officials have said that the next dates will be notified later.

In the meantime, students can continue to attend certificate verification even if they have missed an opportunity owing to the ongoing strike. Counselling process continued to be disturbed in several centres in the Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions due to the protests against the State bifurcation. Out of the 37 helpline centres in those regions only 17 centres functioned and 4,216 candidates were able to register their names. In the Telangana region 5,216 candidates registered in the 22 helpline centres.
Officials said that several students from coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions had got their certificates verified in the Telangana region helpline centres, particularly from the districts closer to Hyderabad and cities that are closed to their regions.
