Water enters 700 houses in Afzalnagar

Three persons died and two houses were completely damaged due to the intermittent lashing the capital since last four days, said District Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena here on Friday. He said rainwater partially entered 700 houses in Afzalnagar at Asifnagar till Friday evening.

Residents of Nampally, Himayathnagar, Musheerbad, Amberpet have been put on alert and all the low lying areas have been identified to avoid any inconvenience to people.

Measures have been taken to set up rehabilitation centres, he stated in a press release.
