Water Board to focus on revenue collection

Water Board Managing Director promises to redress complaints, besides instructing general managers to attend to send action taken reports

Twelve complaints relating to low pressure, inadequate water supply, drainage overflow polluted water supply from Chikkadpally, Dilsukhnagar, Sainkpuri, Malkajgiri, Marredpally, Tolichowki and Kavadiguda were received at the “Dial your MD” programme held at the Water Board office here on Saturday.

Board’s managing director J. Syamala Rao promised to redress the complaints and instructed the concerned general managers (E) to attend the same immediately and send action taken reports (ATR) to the head office. Mr. Rao further instructed the general managers to focus on improving revenue collections. Earlier, during the ‘Meet your MD’ programme, 12 complaints pertaining to long pending billing issues were received.

Among others who attended were Dr. M. Jagan Mohan, executive director, P. Manohar Babu, director (operations), D.S. Ramireddy, director (technical), P.S. Suryanarayana, director (revenue) and others.
