August 13, 2013 12:21 am | Updated November 16, 2021 09:29 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Tension gripped Kamalanagar in Kushaiguda on Sunday night when two groups of the city unit of BJP clashed over putting up of flexi boards in Kushaiguda in connection with the visit of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to the city.

Cherlapally division party president Giri Goud complained to Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency convenor Marri Mohan Reddy on his photograph not being placed on the flexi boards and blamed city secretary Ramesh Yadav for it.

The duo then met Yadav and sought reasons for not including Goud’s photograph.

A heated argument took place between them and in a fit of anger, followers of Goud attacked Yadav resulting in injuries. Yadav later lodged a complaint with the Kushaiguda police.
