Venu Madhav booked after his pet dog bites 12-yr-old

A criminal case was registered against film actor Venu Madhav on Monday after his pet dog bit a 12-year-old boy at HB Colony in Kushaiguda.

J. Mohan Krishna was heading to his friend’s house on a bicycle when the pet dog brought out for a walk by the actor jumped at him and bit him on Sunday evening, Kushaiguda Inspector K. Venkat Reddy said.

The boy’s father, Omkar, alleged that the actor failed to control the dog and his negligence resulted in injury to his son. Section 289 (negligent conduct with regard to animal) of IPC was invoked against the actor.
