When ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ was first announced sometime in 2012, starring ‘Victory’ Venkatesh and superstar Mahesh Babu with Anjali and Samantha, eyebrows were raised. The film went on to become a hit after its release on January 1, 2013.
And around the time 2013 was coming to an end, there was talk that Venkatesh was to work in yet another multi-starrer - this time with ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan.
But it is official now. Producers D. Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions and Sharat Marar of Northstar Entertainment have come together to make another multi-starrer with Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan.
When contacted, Mr. Sharat said the Telugu film would be loosely based on the English flick ‘Man Who Sued God’ and a remake of ‘OMG-Oh My God!’, a Hindi satire-comedy-drama of 2012 directed by Umesh Shukla with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the lead.
“Nothing except that the two stars have agreed to work in this film is confirmed. Everything will be firmed up in a week or 10 days,”he said.
