Stage is set for the celestial wedding of Sri Ramachandra Swamy with his consort Goddess Seetha on the occasion of Sri Ramanavami festival at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada of Rajannna-Sircilla district on Wednesday.

Devasthanam Executive Officer D Rajeshwar said that they had erected temporary shelters to shield the devotees from scorching sun and installed 15 LED TV screens for them to witness the celestial wedding in the temple shrine.

The temple authorities made arrangements for the distribution of water packets and butter-milk packets to the devotees.

Three health centres with rescue teams and ambulances have been arranged by the Devasthanam to provide necessary assistance to the pilgrims in case of any eventuality.

The police have also made elaborate security arrangements by deploying additional police forces to prevent any untoward incident.

The devotees have already started arriving at the shrine from Tuesday evening.

The temple authorities have barricaded entire premises to ensure hassle free darshan for devotees.
