UPSC releases sample questions of new paper

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released sample questions of the newly introduced paper on Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude for the Civil Services Examination. The sample questions are now available on the website www.upsc.gov.in.

Changes in syllabus

The UPSC had made several changes in the syllabus of the Civil Services Main Examination this year. Apart from making it more contemporary and comprehensive in traditional areas it had introduced a new paper “Ethics Integrity and Aptitude”.

Aspirants were waiting for some guidance on the paper and the sample questions would give them an idea about the exam paper . “The sample questions appear to relate to common dilemmas faced by any individual. The questions seem to be designed to test the reactions of the aspirant to various ethical dilemmas that all of us confront on a regular basis,” said Gopala Krishna, Director, Brain Tree.
