Unemployed youth ends life

Depressed over unemployment, a youth from Dilawarnagar in Mangalhat hanged himself to death. Sachu Singh (22) used a sari to take the extreme step in his house on Monday night, police said. Members of his family said Singh was unemployed for the last few months.

Commits suicide

A woman from Kamarabanda village in Shabad mandal of Ranga Reddy district ended her life by consuming poison on Monday night, police said. Relatives who noticed N. Bhimamma (45) in an unconscious condition, shifted her to Osmania General Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment. She was not maintaining good health for the last two years.

DCM runs over boy

A six-year-old boy playing in front of his house died after coming under a DCM van at Jalpally on Monday evening. Shaik Mohd Ahmed Afridi, a Class I student, was playing when the driver while reversing the vehicle ran over the boy. The van driver fled the spot.

Succumbs to injuries

A person hailing from Mahabubnagar district died while undergoing treatment at OGH on Monday night. K. Ramulu (55) fell down on the road at Angarpur while returning from a function at Pargi in Ranga Reddy and was shifted to OGH where he succumbed to his injuries.

Body found

The body of a 22-year-old-man was retrieved from the Jalpally lake on Monday evening. Police said Sarwar, a labourer from Pahadisharif, had gone for a swim to the lake on Sunday and drowned.

UKG student run over by lorry

A UKG student Mohd. Ayan (6), was killed by a speeding lorry while he was going to his school, at Santoshnagar water tank in Madannapet on Tuesday. The boy was walking beside his mother when the lorry came from behind and knocked him down. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
