UFERWAS too pitches in

The United Federation of Residents Welfare Associations (UFERWAS) has made representations to Malkajgiri legislator C. Kanaka Reddy to provide relief from Army restrictions in cantonment area. UFERWAS told Mr. Reddy that orders from the Ministry of Defence to open public roads were not being followed, and even night-time restrictions were causing traffic congestion in Trimulgherry after 10 p.m. Mr. Reddy assured representatives that he would convey the matter to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who is slated to meet Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on May 6.
