UCCRI (M-L) to contest LS, Assembly polls

The Unity Centre of Communist Revolutionaries of India has decided to put up its candidates in the forthcoming elections to Lok Sabha and Assembly in the State.

UCCRI (Marxist-Leninist) State secretary Vinod said, in a statement, that the party would contest in 12 Lok Sabha constituencies and close to 50 Assembly seats in the State with the slogan “defeat the reactionary and anti-people Congress”.

The party appealed to the people to rally behind the communist revolutionaries to fight for land, democracy and independence. Mr. Vinod said the list of the candidates the party proposed to field would be released soon. The party would also contest the elections to the local bodies (MPTCs and ZPTCs) in the State.
