Riding over the resurgent property market in the city, the two-day annual event ‘ The Hindu Habitat Living Spaces-2013’ played host to a large number of prospective home seekers. Many drove to Shilpa Kala Vedika, Madhapur, to take a pick from the choicest properties available in the city.
Tennis ace Sania Mirza inaugurated the event here on Saturday
Properties costing between Rs. 20 lakh and Rs. 3 crore are on offer at the event. “We are offering three projects to the customers and this event is a good avenue to showcase our products,” B. Venkata Ramana, manager at NCC Urban, said. The property market in the city is picking up and increase in the demand is a manifestation of this upswing, he observed.
Narotham Reddy from Cybercity Builders and Developers was also optimistic. “There have been enough walk-ins today and we are expecting more people tomorrow,” he said.
Customers on their part were satisfied with the event. “Instead of bringing in many builders, the event offers us properties by a few top builders in the city so that we can compare and focus on the area and type of houses available,” B. Rama Raju, a retired government employee, said. Mr. Raju, along with his son and daughter-in-law, was scouting for an independent villa.
The title sponsor for the event was HDFC and Cybercity Builders and Developers and NCC Urban were associate partners.
Radio partner was 93.5 Red FM and Television partner for the event was TV-5.
