The Commissioners Task Force (south) on Tuesday arrested two vehicle lifters and recovered nine motorcycles from their possession. A person who received the stolen motorcycles from them was also arrested.
The arrested persons – Syed Sayeed (18) of Tallabkatta and Mohd Akbar (21) of Yakutpura – formed a gang and were lifting vehicles in the city. The duo sold two motorcycles to Mohd Imran (20) of Bandlaguda for Rs. 5,000 each. They were handed over to Madannapet police station for further investigation.
